Cartwright Hydraulic Consultants originally commenced practice in 1966. The current managing director of Cartwright Hydraulic Consultants is Philip Cartwright, who has over 35 years of experience in hydraulic consultancy services. The Company has a long history and has been commissioned for many highly specialised projects including aged care developments, hospitals, laboratories, hotels, casino entertainment facilities, multi-storey office towers, retail centres, residential apartments, industrial manufacturing projects, and all levels of educational facilities.
Cartwright Hydraulic Consultants has received awards for its excellence in urban development design from the Urban Development Institute of Australia for Boans Warehouse in 1997 and St James Estate, Northbridge in 1996. The St James Estate project was also awarded the Urban Development of Australia, National President’s Awards for Excellence in 1997 for the Most Outstanding Project in Australia. CHC also received two awards for work on Curtin University, The Premiers Award in 1998 and a Civic Design Award and has been commissioned on many other award winning projects including The West Australian Newspaper Headquarters in Herdsman which received the commercial category award from The Royal Australian Institute of Architects.
